Ross Hill is the founder of Insight Forward (IF), a Geopolitical Risk Intelligence advisory service specializing in corporate intelligence. He has over 15 years’ experience in public and private sector intelligence and is a regular speaker at industry events. Prior to founding IF Mr. Hill was Director of Intelligence for AT-RISK International. In addition, he led the global intelligence team at a Fortune 50 company and has significant experience designing intelligence strategy and processes, specializing in identifying the impact of geopolitical and international security risks on multinational companies. Mr. Hill is based in the U.K. and began his career as a forensic scientist before joining the Metropolitan Police in London as an intelligence Analyst working within the high-risk and major events team. He holds a Master of Arts in International Security Studies from the University of Leicester.
Dr. Treston Wheat is currently the Chief Geopolitical Officer with Insight Forward specializing in geopolitical risk and red teaming. Previously, he worked at Milestone Technologies as a red team analyst, focusing on threat actor/TTP research, wargaming, and alternative analysis. In addition, he worked as a strategic cybersecurity analyst and geopolitical risk analyst for AS Solution. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) with a dissertation on Augustinian just war theory and drone warfare, and during that time taught classes on American government, the presidency, and political cinema. In 2022, he was part of the Foundation for Democracies' National Security Fellows Program and published research on the role of technology corporations in the Asian balance of power for the Andrew W Marshall Foundation. Besides working in corporate security, Dr. Wheat is also an adjunct professor at Georgetown University where he teaches intelligence analysis.
